Multi Purpose Graffiti Remover Gel has been formulated from a mixture of highly active solvents. The product is thickened to prolong contact time aiding more efficient removal of graffiti soiling from a multitude of hard, non-porous surfaces (e.g. masonry, aluminium, and melamine). The product contains no chlorinated solvents making it very user friendly. It’s solvent base has a high boiling point and relatively high vapour density, subsequently in use, vapour levels remain well below occupational exposure limits.
Multi Purpose Graffiti Remover Gel can be used for the fast and efficient removal of stubborn ink marks, paint, crayons and other stains from hard, non-porous surfaces such as metal and masonry. With controlled use the product is also safe to use on painted surfaces as long as the paint is of “good quality”. Avoid use on emulsion paints, PVC, or freshly applied paints.
METHOD OF USE:
It is advisable to test Multi Purpose Graffiti Remover Gel on a small unnoticeable part of the surface to be cleaned before commencing the operation. Shake can before use.
Multi Purpose Graffiti Remover Gel may be applied by cotton swab, stiff brush or roller. Work the product in well. Maintain a controlled contact time with the surface for up to 30 mins. For sensitive surfaces contact time must be kept to the absolute minimum to give removal of the graffiti (max.5 mins.). It is better to remove early and then reapply if needed to allow excessive dwell time. Deposits may then be wiped away with a clean soft damp cloth, working from the edges toward the centre. Wash away with water residual graffiti using a pressure hose if appropriate (typically 70 Deg C and 1500 psi). Stubborn graffiti may require agitation with a brush, non abrasive pad or a further application of the product. Rinse surfaces with a mild detergent such as PGP500 diluted with water, after use. Do not allow the graffiti agent to come into contact with adjacent areas.
Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wear chemically resistant goggles or a visor. Wear rubber (not pvc) gloves and overall. Splashes to skin should be washed off with plenty of water. In the event of eye contact, irrigate with clean water. Do not allow the graffiti agent to enter watercourses or foul sewer.
