PA16 is a low foam liquid alkaline degreasant for the removal of deposits on industrial plant and machinery. Suitable for immersion paint removal from ferrous metals. PA16 can also be used as an industrial oven cleaner to remove oxidised oil and grease deposits and also for boiler fire side cleaning. Use PA16 to neutralise acidity in boilers. PA16 has been highly effective at removing above mentioned deposits from plate heat exchangers (do not use on brazed heat exchangers). PA16 may also be used for the neutalization of spent acid, following cleaning operations, and prior to discharge.
METHOD OF USE
For all applications use a 10% solution in water. Apply by spray, brush or use in an immersion tank. Agitate if necessary. Solutions of PA16 may be heated to 600C to speed up cleaning process. Allow PA16 to penetrate for 10-20 minutes and rinse off with water. For deposits which are very hard to remove increase the concentration of PA16 and repeat. Avoid contact with aluminium, magnesium and zinc silicate coatings.
Handle strong alkalis with care. Wear full protective clothing and wash off any splashes with plenty of water. For detailed health and safety information, request a hazard data sheet.
