501 Floor Polish Stripper
DESCRIPTION
A heavy duty ammonia free floor polish stripper. The product emulsifies polish, for its subsequent removal. Suitable for most surfaces including terrazzo, marble, sealed wood, vinyl, rubber and tiles.
METHOD OF USE
Check on a test patch the concentration required to remove the polish. The test patch should be against a wall where least wear and maximum build up has occurred. 501 STRIPPER can be used at concentrations varying from 10-50% diluted, preferably, in hot water. Use the lowest concentration that
removes polish easily in a reasonable period of time. Prepare a solution of 501 STRIPPER in water, apply liberally and leave for 5-10 minutes. For removal of light polish coatings mopping is normally sufficient. Heavier coatings may require use of a scourer or scrubbing machine. Remove all dissolved residues with use of a mop or suction machine. Rinse thoroughly until all dissolved polish is removed. squeegy or suction off, mop with clean water, apply polish.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Although caustic free, 501 STRIPPER is highly alkaline and contains a powerful degreaser. Care should
be taken to ensure that the product does not come into contact with skin and eyes. Wear gloves, goggles and boots. Keep out of reach of all but skilled operators. Contact with skin should be washed off with plenty of water. Contact with eyes should be washed out by irrigation. For detailed health and safety
