Effervescent Chlorine Tablets

£0.00

Effervescent Chlorine Tablets provide a powerful disinfectant that will kill bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores. Each tablet liberates 300 parts per million of available chlorine per 1 LIT of water, even after 5 years storage of the tablet.

Convenient: Simply add tablet to clean water and dissolve. Warm water and/or stirring will speed up dissolution time.

Economic In Use: The tablets provide an easy to use dilution system that eradicates the over dosing that is common with liquid bleach and more importantly minimises any under-dosing potential.

Accurate: Always yielding the stated level of available chlorine.

Safe: Liquid Bleach (sodium hypochlorite) is caustic and corrosive. Preparing dilutions can be hazardous, splashes can cause chemical burns and bleach clothing. Tablets do not spill, splash or leak and exhibit a near neutral pH of 6.5, which means reduced risk of accident or personal injury. Tests have shown that nearly all metals in common use are more readily corroded by liquid bleach than bleach tablets.

Greater Biocidal Effect: Strength for strength, tablets are more biocidal than liquid bleach because of their pH effect. The amount of chlorine required to kill the same amount of bacteria increases if the pH is high.

Greater Resistance to Organic Load: The tablets have 50% free available and 50% combined chlorine. This reservoir effect creates an equilibrium that makes tablets more resistant to organic load than liquid bleach.

Supplied in pots containing 250x 1.1g tablets (0.5 NaDCC)
