PA11
HIGHLY CONCENTRATED ALKALI POWDER CLEANER/DEGREASER

A heavy duty alkaline but caustic free product containing special additives which quickly remove oil and
grease deposits.
APPLICATIONS
PA11 finds applications in many types of industries from heavy engineering for oil and grease removal to
the food industry for the removal of food soils and general purpose cleaning. PA11 is a heavy duty non
caustic powder for cleaning/degreasing ferrous metals (some non-ferrous metals e.g. aluminium cylinder
heads, may be cleaned where strict control on dilution and immersion times are maintained). The product
contains low foaming wetting agents. PA11 is suitable for use in industrial spray booth washing machines,
steam and pressure cleaning machines, immersion soak tanks and for general cleaning of floors and
walls.
METHOD OF USE:-
Steam and Pressure Machine cleaning:- Use 10 to 20 grams (1 to 2%) per litre of water in the
detergent tank.
Soak Tank Cleaning:- Use 25 to 65 grams per litre of water (2.5 to 6.5%) at between 75 to 850C.
Spray Booth Washing Machines:-
temperatures or heated to 75 to 850C.Use 20 to 50 grams per litre of water (2 to 5%) at ambient
General purpose floor and wall cleaning and for removing fats , oils and grease in food
industries:- Use 20 to 100 grams per litre of water (2-10%) at 40-800C depending on amount of soil.
PA11 should be made up in cold water. After applications rinse with plenty of water. Use in a mild steel
tank. For very hard water areas additions of a rinsing agent to the cleaning tank may be required (1part
rinse aid to 10 parts PA11). PA11 will not necessarily remove corrosion deposits. An acidic cleaner may
be required (please consult your technical representative).
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Handle strong alkalis with care. Wear full protective clothing and wash off any splashes with plenty of
