PCS 212
PCS212 is an acid accelerated methylene chloride based cold paint stripper for the
removal of a wide range of finishes from ferrous metals. PCS 212 contains a blend of acids which gives rapid action but without the excessive acidic fumes normally associated with highly accelerated products. PCS212 is also inhibited to reduce possible attack on tank materials and stripped substrates.
METHOD OF USE
PCS212 is used neat, although to reduce solvent loss and odours a water seal should be added. Approximately 5cm seal is normally sufficient - excess amounts should be avoided as this will reduce the efficiency of the stripper due to the reduction of acid concentration in the solvent phase. Do not heat PCS212. Mild steel tanks are suitable for storing PCS212.
After prolonged use the PCS212 tank may require desludging to remove paint residues, and a subsequent top up with fresh stripper. After stripping, components should be rinsed or power washed to remove lightly adhering paint followed by drying and, if required, inhibition.
PCS212 is supplied in 25L / 200L / 1000L IBC Containers
