PCS 311A

£0.00

PCS 311 is an accelerated hot caustic paint remover for use on ferrous substrates. The product contains a blend of caustic alkalis with high boiling organic accelerators to allow sustained operations at high temperatures.

APPLICATIONS:
PCS311 is formulated for the removal of highly resistant finishes such as multicoated stoved laquers and electrocoats from jigs and hangers as well as fabricated components. Where the use of pyrolysis(ovens) is not recommended (on springs or delicate work which may distort) then PCS311 will provide a viable alternative.
PCS311 is used at 900c upwards at its supplied concentration although water may be added for less demanding applications (tests should first be carried out to determine ideal concentration). Losses due to evaporation may be replenished with water but when performance is dropping then fresh PCS311 should be added .
PCS311 is used in heavy duty mild steel tanks with heating coils constructed of seamless stainless steel. An oil seal may be used to reduce evaporative losses particularly where the tank is operated at near the rolling boil.

After stripping, parts should be rinsed / power washed, then dried and, if required, inhibited.
