PERFORMANCE PRODUCT: Performance OAT – Corrosion Inhibitor
ESCRIPTION:
Performance OAT is an environmentally friendly organic based corrosion inhibitor, providing long life corrosion protection in aqueous solutions for engine metals, (copper, iron, aluminium & solder alloys)
Performance OAT is recommended as a Coolant, hot test fluid or flushing fluid for engine blocks, and all cooling systems, mixed with the appropriate amount of water.
Performance OAT is compatible with glycol based engine coolants. Coolant should be changed every 5 years or after 32,000 hours in marine and stationary applications, whichever comes first.

Application:
Performance OAT provides long life corrosion protection. Dosage may vary depending on application, from 5 – 10% - minimum of 5Vol.% of Performance OAT in water should be used.
Performance OAT can be used in all types of engines, ie aluminium, cast iron or combination of both metals, and cooling systems made of copper alloys or aluminium.
Marine Application: concentration should not be lower than 5 vol.%. Life time recommended at this dosage at least 32,000 hours.
Small marine engines may require limited frost protection, (by using the adequate dosage of antifreeze coolant (ethylene glycol) supplemented with 5 % vol of Performance OAT.
Frost protection of -10 to -15degC, require antifreeze dosages of 22 & 29 vol % respectively.
Water used for dilution should be free of Zinc as this will cause formation of a precipitate, soft water is recommended for dilution.
