PR 402 E
PR 402E is a concentrated, inhibited, hydrochloric acid based cleaner. It can be used to remove mortar
and cement stains from brickwork, paving, tiles, plant & machinary encountered in all types of industrial
and domestic situations. PR 402E acts by removing the top surface layer to reveal lower layers which
appear as good as new. PR 402E will also remove soot stains, rust stains and calcium deposits in toilets.
Method of use
For brickwork dilute 1:1 with water. For terazzo, marble, coloured paving, tiles, sand lime/silicate bricks etc use a 1:4 solution of PR 402E with water. If in doubt test a small area. Apply by brush and agitate if
necessary. Rinse off thoroughly with clean water. Neutralize with alkali before disposal to drain. Avoid
prolonged contact. For heavy duty toilet and washroom descaling use neat or diluted with up to 20 parts
water depending on the degree of soiling. Allow sufficient dwell time, agitate if necessary.
Safety Precautions
Take normal precautions for handling concentrated acids. Do not mix with bleach or any products
containing hypochlorite. Do not heat or use on hot surfaces and make sure that there is adequate
ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Splashes to skin should be washed off with water. Eye
